This lotion contains OleoKeratin Technology, which combines 3 types of elements:

• GLX, which is a natural hydroxy acid found in young leaves, green fruits and mushroom micelles. This acid creates new bonds in the keratin proteins, adding volume and rigidity to the hair without breaking its disulphide bonds. It also restores and nourishes the hair fibre for long-lasting smoothness.
• Natural keratin that fills the gaps in the hair's keratin chains and gives the strands consistency.
• Argan oil, which contains high levels of vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It nourishes and protects the hair while softening it and adding shine. It also has a lubricating action which reduces friction between the hair strands, reducing frizz as a result.

This product is free from formaldehyde and ammonia.

This lotion is for phase 2 of a Montibello Morphosse Liss Smoothing treatment. It is for professional use only.

1. After washing the hair with Montibello Morphosse Pre-Treatment Shampoo, detangle the hair and dry about 80% of the moisture from it.
2. Next, divide the hair into 4 sections and detangle these sections.
3. Put on a pair of suitable protective gloves, then pour some Montibello Morphosse Active Lotion into a non-metallic bowl: 30 to 40 g for hair that is above the shoulder to medium-length, and 80g for longer hair.
4. Using a small spatula, apply the lotion to the hair on fine strands starting at the nape of the neck. Apply to the roots first and work your way towards the ends, but make sure to leave a 5 mm distance from the scalp. Also ensure you spread the product evenly, ideally with a fine-tooth comb. Leave it to process for 20 minutes on natural or thick hair, or 10 minutes on coloured or sensitised hair.
5. After the processing time has finished, remove excess product with a fine-tooth comb. Then blow-dry about 80% of the moisture from the hair, using the dryer at maximum air capacity and on a medium heat setting.
6. Next, use hair straighteners to straighten the hair on 0.5 cm thick sections at a time. Use them 7 to 10 times each section, at a temperature of 210 degrees Celsius on natural hair and 180 degrees celsius on coloured hair. You will see some steam coming from the iron as you pass it through the hair which is normal. This process can take from 2 to 3 hours depending on the hair type and length. Once you have straightened the whole head of hair, wait for 5 minutes.
7. Once 5 minutes is up, rinse out the remaining active lotion thoroughly with clean water and proceed to phase 3 of the Morphosse Liss Smoothing treatment.

Avoid contact with the eyes. If this product gets into the eyes, rinse it out thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

Please ensure that your client knows not to wash their hair or use any type of hair band, clip or accessory on it until 48 to 72 hours after their Morphosse Liss Smoothing treatment. Also inform them that after this period, it is important to wash their hair with Montibello Morphosse Post-Treatment Shampoo and condition it with Montibello Morphosse Texturising Conditioning Mask.

Please note that a yellowish tone may appear on grey or very light hair if this treatment is used on it. This product may also lighten coloured hair by 1 to 2 levels. If the hair is sensitised from chemical treatments, Montibello recommend performing a strand test before a full treatment.
