This cleansing spray helps to prepare the hair to receive colour or treatment more effectively by chelating the hair. This action removes metal and mineral build-up from the hair that could lead to patchy colour results or unwanted tones. It also increases the vibrancy and longevity of the colour, as well as better performance and absorption of treatments.

This vegan, cruelty-free hair cleanser contains a blend of 5 chelating ingredients:

• Citric acid
• Ascorbic acid
• Trisodium EDDS
• Glucono delta-lactone (GDL)
• Sodium gluconate, formulated without any fragrance or harsh surfactants.

This product is suitable for all hair types, and is free from sulphates, ammonia, MEA, DEA, PPD and PDT.

This product is part of the P.O.D system, which utilises water by softening it and making it more functional for different hair types. This system includes the following steps:

1. Chelating the hair with The Mineral Cleansing Spray.
2. Cleansing the hair with a shampoo of your choice.
3. Balancing the hair's pH levels with The Shield.
4. Preparing the hair with an ECOHEADS P.O.D Prep of your choice.
5. Performing the service on the hair, whether it be colour, toning or a conditioning treatment.
6. Finishing the service with The Sealer.

The Mineral Cleansing Spray is to be used in step 1 of the P.O.D system. The first part of this step is to spray this product evenly onto dry hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and the ends. Next, comb the product through the hair to distribute it evenly. Leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse it out thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
