These cleansing pods remove impurities, oils and product build-up, preparing the hair to receive optimal colour or treatment. They also soften and lift the cuticles while balancing the hair's porosity and filling the hair fibre.

Additionally, this particular product instantly neutralises unwanted yellow or brassy tones.

Each bag contains 10 sachets, with each sachet containing 2 capsules.

These vegan, cruelty-free cleansing pods have a mild minty scent, and they contain the following active ingredients:

• Arginine to safely lift tight cuticles to allow a more effective treatment or colour deposit. This ingredient also strengthens and protects the hair, keeping it healthy.
• Mild surfactants to gently cleanse the hair and scalp.
• Betaine, which supports the hair's porosity while providing it with nourishment.
• Acid Violet 43, a violet pigment that instantly neutralises yellow or brassy tones.

These tablets are free from sulphates, ammonia, MEA, DEA, PPD and PDT.

This product is part of the P.O.D system, which utilises water by softening it and making it more functional for different hair types. This system includes the following steps:

1. Chelating the hair with The Mineral Cleansing Spray.
2. Cleansing the hair with a shampoo of your choice.
3. Balancing the hair's pH levels with The Shield.
4. Preparing the hair with an ECOHEADS P.O.D Prep of your choice.
5. Performing the service on the hair, whether it be colour, toning or a conditioning treatment.
6. Finishing the service with The Sealer.

The Violet Prep is to be used in step 4 of the P.O.D system. To use it, place it into The Adaptor to apply it to the hair. Start with rinsing the hair from the front hairline, focusing on the roots. For effective cleansing and even distribution of the violet pigments, cleanse the scalp and move the hair around. Work the product through the mid lengths and the ends of the hair until the pod has fully dissolved. You do not need to rinse out The Violet Prep, just towel dry the hair before proceeding with step 5.
