In January 2020, Disicide® were awarded with the Vegan Certificate and Green Salon Award. This means that all of their products are free from animal ingredients, and are never tested on animals. In addition, the Green Salon Award confirms that all Disicide® products contain no substances that are problematic to humans or the environment.

As well as being vegan, this product's formula is water-based and ethanol-free.
